Artur Geremeyev was a suspect in the murder of Boris Nemtsov in 2015. He was never formally interrogated, with investigators claiming they were unable to find him. In February 2025, the Agentsvo Novosti Telegram channel reported that the border service had recorded him crossing the border between Russia and Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast six times in May and June 2023 (Meduza, 2025; Telegram, 2025).
