Brief description
Dzhabrail Eldarov was a suspect in the 2015 murder of Boris Nemtsov. He was repeatedly in contact with Zaur Dadayev and Anzor Gubashev, who carried out the attack; Ruslan Mukhudinov, who organised it; and Ruslan Geremeyev, whom the Nemtsov family’s lawyers accused of being behind it. He was caught on CCTV near the crime scene with Artur Geremeyev, who was also wanted in connection with the assassination. According to the Agentsvo Novosti Telegram channel, the Russian border service recorded him crossing the border with Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast in 2023 (Telegram, 2025).
