Brief description
Movladi Baysorov was the commander of the FSB’s Gorets unit. He was a former ally of Chechen leader Akhmat Kadyrov but became an opponent of his son, Ramzan, and was shot in a special operation in Moscow in November 2006 after refusing to subordinate his forces to Ramzan’s. The operation against him was led by Kadyrov’s close ally, Adam Delimkhanov (Sokirianskaia, 2024:215-216).
