Brief description
Adam Dashayev is a Chechen entrepreneur. He is director of the Russian University of Spetsnaz: it was reported that he only occupied the role briefly, in 2023, before being replaced by Baybetar Vaykhanov; however, Chechen state media were still referring to him as the occupant of that role when President Putin visited Chechnya in December 2024, and the state registry still lists him as director. The confusion appears to stem from the role of Vaykhanov, who is “leader.”
