Brief description
Rus is a a storm detachment comprised primarily of former Wagner fighters. It was originally subordinate to the 88th (Espanyola) Brigade, but in April 2025 announced that it was becoming an independent unit (Lenta.ru, 2025; Telegram, 2025). It has operated around Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Oblast (Lenta.ru, 2025).
