Brief description
The Oversight Service is a branch of the Federal Security Service (FSB). It reviews personnel and investigates crimes committed by FSB employees. It is comprised of three main entities: the Inspection Directorate; the Auditing Directorate; the Directorate of Internal Security (Soldatov and Borogan, 2010).
