Brief description
The Ingushetian Interior Ministry is the local branch of Russia’s Interior Ministry, responsible for performing core law enforcement functions on the territory of the republic. In line with the federal ministry, it performs traditional policing duties, oversees road traffic safety, and maintains public security. However, it lost its militarised components with the creation of Rosgvardia.
