Brief description
The Antiterrorism Commission for the Chechen Republic is the local equivalent of the National Antiterrorism Committee, responsible for coordinating the activities of the federal and local executive organisations and local self-government for the purposes of preventing and responding to terrorism.
Leadership
By law, local commissions are headed by the head of the federal subject, in this case the head of Chechnya.
