Bair et al (2021): Identified a number of steps they had taken to address systemic inequalities: reviewing composition of editorial board to improve representativeness; publication of annual diversity statements; actively encouraging and publishing work on underrepresented topics and pedagogical interventions; launching events and initiatives that address questions of representation and blind spots in the field; and changing instructions to authors to make them more aware of the need to address biases.
